KFL&A Children Youth Services Steering Committee is supported through a two year grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and a 3 year grant from Sunnyside Children's Foundation to assist us in carrying out our work in the community.



Who are We?

The Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington Children's Services Committee brings together representatives from across the spectrum of human services in our area to provide overall leadership in children's services.

  • We facilitate the development and implementation of shared solutions to local concerns and challenges.
  • We identify strengths, barriers and gaps in the local network of services.
  • We will begin planning to integrate children's services at the local and regional level.
  • We will be making recommendations to providers, the community and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services on how best to capitalize on strengths, overcome barriers and fill gaps in service.
